California Massage Schools Association Code of Ethics

• CAMSA members will represent their school and programs to the public in an honest and ethical manner.

• CAMSA members will practice with integrity, honesty, fairness, and respect for others.

• CAMSA members will refuse to participate in activities that are illegal, that violate the civil rights of others, or that discriminate against individuals basd upon race, etchnicity, language, religion, martial status, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, socioeconomic status, or political affiliation. In addition, CAMSA members work to eliminate the effect on their work of biases based upon these factors.

• CAMSA members will not engage in sexually suggestive or expilict advertising or promotion of their business.

• CAMSA members will not disparage or discredit other members to the general public and/ or other CAMSA members.

• CAMSA members respect the rights of to hold values and opinions that differ from their own.

• CAMSA members will use every available resource to serve their students/ clients best.

• CAMSA members will strive to increase public awarness of massage therapy.

• CAMSA members involved in education and training will ensure that students and inters operate under the same ethical standards that govern professionals.

• CAMSA members have an obligation to be familiar with this Code of Ethics
